The NCERT conducts scholarship programs like ‘National Talent Search’; ‘Chacha Nehru Scholarships’. The ‘National Talent search’ is conducted for students at VIII level; it consists of two tests namely, ‘Mental Ability Test (MAT)’ and ‘Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Such examinations motivate the students at the earlier levels; I should admit that when I was studying in the school, these examinations were considered, as one of the prestigious honor by the studious people. But it didn’t stop inspiring; it joined its hands with international organizations, like UNESCO, World Bank, UNICEF, etc. to impart quality training, regarding educational activities in India. Another major aspect of the NCERT is that it has a separate department, designed under the National Educational Policy for women education and development.
